Let's Save The Animals and Mother Nature

SEASON

In many parts of the world, the weather changes through out the year. These changes are called the seasons.

>Some places have four seasons. These are spring, summer, fall, and winter. Other parts of the world have only one or two seasons. Many tropical places are hot all year with a dry season with no rain, and a wet season when wids bring rain from the ocean.

>During the wet season in Asia, from april to October, a strong wind called a monsoon brings very heavy rains.

>In places that have a wet season, plants like cactus can survive many months without rain. When the first rains come, everything bursts into life.

Why Seasons Happened

Each year, the earth moves in one big circle around the sun, spinning as it travels. the earth spins at an angle.

Summer- In June, the northern half is tilted towards the sun, so the weather there is warm. It is summer in the north and winter in the south.

Spring- In March and September, neither the north nor the south is tilted towards the sun. It is spring in one part of the world and fall in the other.

Winter- In December, the southern half of the earth is tilted towards the sun. It is summer in the south and winter in the north.

Fall(Autumn)- Autumn marks the transition from summer into winter, usually in late March(Southern hemisphere) or late September(Northern hemisphere) when the arrival of night becomes noticeably earlier.

Changing with the seasons

Plants and animals around the world change threir lives with the seasons. In spring, seeds grow, buds appear and open, and many animals give birth to young. By summer, most plants are in full flower. Animals grow too. tadpoles become frogs, caterpillars become butterflies, and young birds learn to fly.
